Awesome Halloween Flyer
Last Updated on July 3, 2026 by Editorial Team
An awesome Halloween flyer template created by Dannie Herdyawan – Ciusan.
Features:
- CMYK Color Mode @ 300 DPI, size 4×6, bleeds 0.25″
- Photoshop version: CS5+
- free fonts used: Soopafresh and BigNoodleTitling
- well-organized PSD file
The template is free, but you have to create an account (on author’s webite) for download. Happy downloading!
The design leans hard into classic haunted-house horror rather than cute, family-friendly Halloween imagery. That dripping blood moon at the top, the glowing jack-o-lantern with laser-bright eyes, and the pile of skulls stacked around its base all point to a full moon over a graveyard.
The wooden signpost with arrows for “Free Ticket,” “Free Drink,” and “Snack” is a nice storytelling touch. It reads like something you’d actually find staked into the ground outside a party venue, pointing guests toward the good stuff before they even get inside.
Color-wise, the flyer sticks to a moody palette of near-black shadows, weathered teal-grey backgrounds, and bursts of deep red and pumpkin orange. That contrast is what makes the jack-o-lantern pop as the visual anchor, with the bold white “Halloween” wordmark doing the job of a scream stopping people mid-scroll.
Where This Flyer Works Best
This template is built for nightlife promotion rather than kids’ trick-or-treat events.
The copy blocks for dancefloor, drink specials, DJ genres, and age restriction make it clear this is meant for bar, club, or lounge Halloween parties.
It suits:
- Nightclub and bar Halloween party promotions
- College or campus Halloween bashes with a DJ lineup
- Costume contest events needing a horror-themed poster
- Haunted house or themed venue advertising
- Ticketed Halloween events needing a print flyer or social graphic
Because the layout already has a defined info hierarchy, date, venue details, address, and contact line, it also works well as a quick print-and-post flyer for local Halloween pop-ups or seasonal promotions that need to go up fast.
Customizing the Layout
Since it’s a layered Photoshop file, swapping details is straightforward.
Start by isolating the text layers: date, venue name, address, phone, email, and website. These sit in clean white or cream type against the dark background, so replacing them keeps the flyer legible without extra styling work.
The signpost arrows are a great spot for customization if your event has different perks to promote. Free ticket and free drink could easily become “VIP Entry,” “Costume Contest,” or “Photo Booth” depending on what you’re actually offering.
If you want to shift the mood slightly, try adjusting the color balance on the blood-drip moon graphic toward purple or green for a more toxic, witchy feel instead of straight horror-red. The skull pile and pumpkin can stay as-is since they’re neutral enough to work with most Halloween color variations.
Because the fonts used are freely available, matching your edits to the existing “Halloween” wordmark style is simple if you want to add extra callouts like “Sold Out” or “18+” without breaking the flyer’s visual consistency.
When exporting for different uses, keep the bleed and CMYK setup intact if you’re sending it to a print shop, but flatten and convert to RGB if you’re repurposing the same design for an Instagram story or Facebook event cover.
