The official Apple UI Design Resources now available for Adobe Xd

With Adobe Xd gaining more and more popularity, Apple has added an Xd format option for the free official UI design resources for iOS.

Currently, the kit includes resources for Apple’s iOS, watchOS and tvOS operating systems.

iOS Apps design resources

The iOS resources are available in multiple formats: Photoshop, Sketch, Adobe Xd, and include a full range of UIKit controls, views and glyphs available to developers using the iOS SDK.

They make it easier to understand how iOS apps are constructed and how to design apps that match the iOS design language. Included icon and glyph production files have been preconfigured to automate asset production using Sketch slices or Adobe Generator for Photoshop CC. Apple.com

There are also 4 video tutorials (Overview, Comps, Icons, Glyphs) for those interested in learning about iOS apps.

watchOS Apps design resources

The watchOS design resources include Photoshop and Sketch type guides, layout specifications, app templates, Apple Watch bezels, plus other UI materials, an installer for SF Compact and the system typeface for watchOS.

tvOS Apps design resources

The tvOS design resources include Icon and Image Templates(app icons, game center images, and top shelf images for Photoshop), Parallax Previewer App for macOS, Parallax Exporter Plug-In for Adobe Photoshop(for MacOS and Windows).
