Google Pixel 2 XL – PSD Mockup

Today we have a useful Google Pixel 2 XL mockup containing the phone in two different views: front and isometric. Designed and shared by Roman Kryzhanovskyi.

Free to use for both personal and commercial purposes.

What makes this Google Pixel 2 XL mockup worth keeping in your asset library is the pairing of angles: one phone standing upright in a straight-on front view, the other tipped onto its back corner in a loose isometric tilt.

That combination gives you a lot more flexibility than a single static frame. The front view is clean and legible, ideal for showing off a screen design where clarity matters most, while the tilted phone adds a sense of depth and movement that reads well in hero banners or promotional graphics.

The device rendering itself is understated. Matte black bezels, a visible camera module and sensor cutout, and a soft rounded body all match the real Pixel 2 XL hardware closely enough that the mockup feels authentic rather than generic.

The backdrop is where the personality lives. Large flat circles in Google-brand blue and amber sit behind the phones, giving the whole scene a bright, optimistic energy without stealing attention from the screens themselves.

That circular motif is easy to recolor or swap out entirely if you want the mockup to sit inside your own brand palette instead of borrowing Google’s.

This is a strong pick for anyone presenting a mobile app design, whether that is a UI case study, a portfolio piece, a Dribbble or Behance shot, or a slide in a client deck.

Android app designers in particular will appreciate having a device that is not the usual iPhone silhouette, which helps app previews look native to the platform they were actually built for.

It also works nicely for marketing use cases: app store feature graphics, landing page hero sections, social media announcements for a new release, or email campaigns introducing a mobile product.

Placing Your Screen Design

To get a clean result, design your app or website screen at the same aspect ratio as the phone display before dropping it in.

Working in a layered editor, you’ll want to isolate the placeholder screen area, then paste or link your design into that space using a smart object or clipping mask, depending on your software.

Pay attention to the isometric phone especially. Since the screen is viewed at an angle, your artwork needs to be warped or transformed to match the perspective so it looks like it is actually sitting on the glass rather than pasted flat on top.

Once your screen is in place, double check contrast against the device bezel and the background circles behind it, since a busy screen design can compete visually with the bold color blocking already happening in the scene.

If you’re building out a fuller presentation, this mockup pairs well with other device shots at different angles, simple text callouts describing key features, or a row of smaller screen thumbnails beneath the main hero image to suggest a multi-screen flow.

Keeping the background circles as an anchor across multiple slides or frames also helps tie a whole presentation together visually, even if the phone angle or screen content changes from one shot to the next.
